For Future Parents
Eggdonation South Africa provides donors for patients from all over the world at a very competitive local currency based fee structure. Donors are provided for all clinics in South Africa as well in East Africa working there mainly through Kenya Fertility Center.
If you are in need of an egg donor please contact us directly at info@eggdonationsouthafrica.co.za and give us your preferences and the clinic you are working with, if you have one already. If you select a donor from a region away from your chosen clinic, there will be an additional charge of R5000 for flights and accomodation for the donor.
If you want to give us more information to help us look for a suitable donor please fill the donor preference form and e-mail it back to us. Our Program co-ordinator will contact you within 24-48 hours.
Once you made your choice our program co-ordinator will contact the clinic of your choice and make an appointment for the donor to be seen by the doctor. The doctor and the IVF co-ordinator of your prefered clinic will then contact you directly and co-ordinate the cycles and the treatment dates. On request, a detailed questionaire on the donor of your choice will be forwarded to you.
Payment
Before a donor from Egg donation South Africa is released to the clinic of your choice, a once off payment is required. For patients resident on the African continent, a discount can be negotiated. Account details will be send to you on request. This payment is only for the right to use a specific donor, recruited by Eggdonation South Africa and not for the actual treatment, for which the clinic will send you a quote and invoice at a later stage.
After payment has been received the donor will be send to the clinic to be checked whether she is medically fit and to have a psychological assessment.
In the unlikely event that the donor is found to be unsuitable for the program egg donation South Africa will provide you, at no extra charge, with an acceptable alternate donor.
Finance
Fertility treatment is expensive and not covered by most medical aids. We are happy to announce a partnership with FHF a well-established organisation specialized in finance for medical procedures.

Testimonials:
From Our Donors...
I spent much of my late teenage years worrying about falling pregnant, as the last thing I wanted was to have a baby - then or ever. This got me thinking about the unfairness of the situation: I, who was presumably perfectly fertile, worried about an unwanted pregnancy while other women ached to conceive a baby. When I obtained some information about egg donation, I was thrilled to discover that my "donation" would be of great help to others. Read more...
From Our Recipients...
We had tried another agency before a distant friend had recommended EDSA, as she herself had been successful with their service, so we contacted Mbali and we could not have been happier. Her pleasant and caring approach is just what we needed after our last experience. The fact that I am now pregnant is just the cherry on the top! Thank you for everything, thank you for making our dream come true. Read more...
